These rugs offer the best of both worlds combining a natural fibre, wool, with a sustainable synthetic Tencel. 

Displaying a luxurious sheen and silky surface, TENCEL is also naturally soft to the touch. In addition TENCEL™ fibres are naturally bacteria and dust mite resistant offering better hygiene and are produced in an environmentally friendly manner. 

All of our rugs come with stain protector included to ensure the easy care and cleaning of your rug.  The protector contains no harsh solvents, plastics or CFC’s and forms an invisible barrier to dirt and oil based stains.

Please note that there is a 2-3 week lead time for all rug orders as they are custom made and there is no refund or exchange available on these as they are made bespoke to order.

Normal Care Instructions:

Initially for wool carpets we recommend a vacuum cleaner with brushes to remove any surface fluffing. After a few weeks switch off the brushes or use a suction only vacuum.

When a spill occurs on your rug:

  • Pick up any solids using a spoon or blunt knife
  • Blot up liquid gently with plain, white, absorbent paper such as kitchen towel
  • Keep blotting gently, change paper regularly until it comes back dry
  • Never rub or scrub which can ‘burst’ the pile surface causing permanent damage
  • Do not add water
  • Avoid home cleaning chemicals which may set the stain, damage the pile, or leave a sticky residue prone to re-soiling
  • If the stain remains the safest choice is to call in a professional carpet cleaner.

Point of delivery

Please check the contents of your delivery immediately. To ensure that all of your items are accounted for and the packaging is intact and unopened.  All risk of damage and loss becomes your responsibility at the point of delivery
If you find that your product packaging is damaged upon receipt do not accept delivery unless you are sure the product within is undamaged.

For items that are ordered in, when the items arrive into stock you will be contacted to arrange delivery. You must be available to accept delivery within one days of the item arriving in. We cannot store items for longer than this time.

    Returns

    If you are unhappy with your purchase it is your right to return the product(s) within 14 days of the delivery date for a refund (excluding delivery costs). Certain exclusions apply, please check individual product details.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging. 

     

    You are responsible for the cost of returning your items (unless the item arrives faulty, damaged or the incorrect item has been received). On furniture orders the cost occured on delivery will be excluded from the refund along with a collection cost.  We recommend using a tracked or recorded returns service as we are not responsible for lost parcels.

    Please allow 3-5 days for refunds to be processed once goods have been received. Our returns policy does not apply to Sales / Clearance items or custom made to order pieces. These items are non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    For purchases where a product is out of its packaging or the seals are broken, a restocking charge of 15% will be applied. Sarah Louise Interiors reserves the right to refuse a refund of any kind, on any item if the product is not returned in a fully re-sellable condition.

    To return an item please follow these three steps:

    Step One

    Email us at sarah@slouiseinteriors.com. Please note your order number and advise if you would like a refund or exchange. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs when returning or exchanging products and furniture. Sarah Louise Interiors only covers the shipping cost for faulty products.

    Step Two

    Please pack and return your item in its original unused condition. All returns are your responsibility until they reach Sarah Louise Interiors.

    Faulty Items

    If you receive damaged goods please email us a photograph and request either a refund or an exchange.

    Any faults with the item need to be reported to us within a 2 day period of your delivery.
